Pet Passing

Pet Passing

Lorrie, Hi there.  Not sure if you remember me.  You did a reading for me for my cat Tasha that was missing, on October 6th (?).  I was the one who'd tried to get a hold of Channel 955?  You told me that she had gone away to die and had been sick for a while - that something was choking her.  You also said you didn't see her coming home to me but told her for me that if she would come home, I'd take care of her so she didn't have to be alone; and I'd take her to the vet when she couldn't go on any longer.  I know you speak with hundreds of people, so I hope this is jogging your memory a bit. I didn't want to believe you.  I really didn't.  And to be honest, I don't know what I thought after I spoke with you - all I know is I was pretty much non-responsive for days because of everything you'd told me.  I know this is how you make your living, and I'm sorry I was skeptical. Tasha came home October 23rd.  She had an upper respiratory infection.  She died November 2nd due to liver failure which led to congestive heart failure.  She was home safe and warm with me for two weeks before she died.  And I did what I promised - I took her to the vet when she couldn't go on anymore. I want to thank you for telling her that she could come home and I would take care of her.  I don't know if she would have decided to come home anyway, but I'd like to think she came home because she missed me and wanted to spend her last days with me - and wouldn't have known unless you'd talked to her for me. Thank you for everything you did for us.  You have no idea how thankful I am that she didn't have to suffer through that alone, and that I got to hold her again before I lost her for good.  And again, I'm sorry I doubted you. Sincerely, Shannon O'Sullivan
